Priorities Please

I am Ottawa born and raised, and I truly love this city. We are lucky that there is so much good that we as citizens can advocate for, and we have the power to look after each other. This is why it is our duty to advocate for defunding the OPS and reallocating funds to healthcare, education, and community welfare. As a woman of colour, I've felt felt fear and mistrust towards the OPS- the lack of accountability, lack of transparency, and massive allocation of funds adds to it every time "a few bad apples" walk away with a slap on the wrist.

We are literally in the middle of a pandemic, and the public health budget is 72mil vs OPS's 760mil budget?!?!?

Its outrageous and incomprehensible and enough is enough.
