Less policing, more prevention!

I work in healthcare and feel the effects of deficient funding on a daily basis. I hear it from patients and their family members on a weekly basis, who want to know why they can't stay in the hospital longer. I have to manage an impossible workload and put in many unpaid hours. It really upset me to see how much money is spent on policing, money that could be spent on our hospitals.

I would like to see more money spent on keeping our citizens fed, housed, and with easy access to preventative care and medications so that less police and hospital services are required. Let's set people up for success, not failure. Let's defund the police!
