A new community space is coming to Riverside South!
The City of Ottawa is building a new community centre, library and district park in Riverside South. This project is located near Limebank Station, off Town Square Place. It will be the go-to spot for the community to gather, learn, and play.
The new facility will be a single-storey building that brings together a 1,900 m2 community centre and a 1,400 m2 library branch under one roof. The shared spaces will include meeting rooms, multi-purpose rooms, and a welcoming lobby. The surrounding park will feature sports fields, a splash pad, playground, and walking paths, designed to support a wide range of recreational activities for all ages. Both the building and the park will be easily accessible, inviting, and reflective of the needs of the neighbourhood, ensuring a vibrant community hub for years to come.

Ottawa South is growing, and so is the need for welcoming, accessible spaces where residents can play, gather, and participate in local programs.
