New community spaces are coming to southeast Ottawa

Riverside South Community Centre, Ottawa Public Library Branch & Southeast Ottawa Recreation Complex

Ottawa South is growing, and so is the need for welcoming, accessible spaces where residents can play, gather, and participate in local programs. To support this expanding community, the City of Ottawa is planning the development of two new recreation centres, designed to bring people together and strengthen neighbourhood connections.

  • Riverside South Community Centre and Ottawa Public Library Branch (250 Town Square Place)
  • Southeast Ottawa Recreation Complex (1863 Earl Armstrong Road)

To ensure these facilities reflect the needs and priorities of the community, we need your input. Please take 15 to 20 minutes to complete this survey on behalf of your household. Your feedback will help to inform the planning, design and range of amenities that may be included in these future community spaces.

The survey will be open until April 14, 2026. Additionally, you can email your feedback to RCFS-PublicEngagement@ottawa.ca
