The City is looking for your feedback on the Concept Plan, and proposed equipment, for a new park development in Ward 3 (Barrhaven West). The 0.68 hectare park, which is partially woodlot covered, is generally located north of Barnsdale Road, between Greenbank Road and Highway 416.

You can download and review the Pointe Park Concept Plan in the ‘Document Library’ (located to the right) which shows the proposed design and more information on the proposed park amenities. Please note that changes to the proposed Concept Plan may be necessary based on consultation feedback and potential budget constraints.

    The design is proposed to include:

    • An existing woodlot
    • A swing set (including 2x-belt swings; 1x-toddler bucket swing; 1x-accessible seat swing)
    • A splash pad
    • A sand play area with permanent umbrellas for shade
    • Permanent umbrella-shade picnic tables
    • Benches and trash receptacle
    • A stonedust trail through the existing woodlot
    • Asphalt trails leading to the play equipment / seating areas
    • Open-play grassed areas.
    • Tree plantings

     Please be aware that a play structure is not currently possible in this park due to budget limitations.  Play structures are currently available nearby at Caltra Park and Cappamore Park
