Consultation has concluded

Thank you to everyone who provided their input on the splash pad design for Joe Jamieson Park. More than 70 percent of participants preferred the Fox Parasol option for the variety of spray elements it provides. The design team exchanged one water feature to increase the accessibility of the overall space. The layout was modified to move the splash pad further away from the park pathway.

Additional requests for a gazebo, picnic tables and benches are out of scope for this project. These requests have been noted to the Ward Councillor.

The proposed splash pad construction is anticipated for Fall 2023 - Spring 2024. The majority of the park will remain open during construction. Councillor Dudas and the community will continue to receive updates on this project.

Thank you for participating in the survey!
