During both community engagement sessions, we will inform you about our work on the EDIB Framework so far. The EDIB Framework is an accountability mechanism for the implementation of the City’s Anti-Racism Strategy (ARS) and Women and Gender Equity Strategy (WGES) as well as City’s plan to improve diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging in the workplace.

On July 10, City representative from the Recreation, Culture and Facility Services Department and Community Social Services Department will briefly speak about their efforts to improve racial equity in the area of City facilities and housing services.

On July 16, City representatives from the Recreation, Culture and Facility Services Department and Community Social Services Department will briefly speak about their efforts to improve women and gender equity in City facilities, housing services and through Ottawa’s Community Safe and Wellbeing Plan.
