2026 Ottawa Freedom Train Ride Feedback Survey

Thank you for being part of the 2026 Emancipation Day event, held from July 31 to August 1. 

More than 300 participants came together to commemorate the abolition of slavery in the British Empire and reflect on its lasting significance for Black communities in Canada. The event created space to honour formerly enslaved people, recognize the sacrifices of those who fought for freedom, and celebrate the resilience and legacies of Black communities. We would love to hear what went well and what you would like to see at future events.
