Home-made Masks go Fast
I would like to acknowledge my sister, Sandra Kerry-Lee Miller, who made over 50 masks that she gave to me to give to groups in need in my community. I know how to sew, but the ones she made had wire for your nose, and a pocket to insert an extra barrier such as a coffee filter. I started to try and make them myself, but I got all mixed up. This does take skill and she has it. Kerry is my hero because while most people are charging $5-$15 per mask, she did not want any renumeration for hers. This is a generous lady who has volunteered all her life in an effort to help people. She's been like the Wind Beneath My Wings and I am proud to call her my sister.
