Defund the Police, Reallocate Funding to Community Services

Canada has a terrible history of state violence against BIPOC communities and Ottawa is not an exception.

We need to stop addressing public safety with the use of force and instead re-allocate funding to community services that will actually keep our residents safe. We need to be investing funds into affordable housing, education, mental-health awareness/healing, youth outreach, and social services.
