Defund the OPS, invest in community services

The OPS is overfunded while many essential social services are being underfunded and neglected. In order to thrive as a collective, we need to make sure everyone has proper housing, food, education and health services. Properly trained and experienced mental health workers need to be available to all to aid through mental health issues and traumatic situations. Community housing needs to be available to all. A healthy nutritious diet needs to be accessible to all. Proper education and training opportunities need to be available to all. Addiction and health services need to be available to all.

Our city is stripping community members of basic human rights. Rather than punishing community members for trying to survive, let's equip and empower them so we can all thrive.
