Transcript - Ottawa's New Zoning By-law

Ottawa is ready for a new Zoning By-law.
Zoning regulates what gets built all around the city. It’s how we guide the shape, character, and form of our growing city.
[Ottawa's location is pinpointed on a map of North America]
But the current zoning by-law is almost fifteen years old! Now that Council has approved a New Official Plan, it’s time to make Ottawa the most livable mid-sized city in North America.
[Construction machinery digs up the ground]
We need your help to make an efficient, effective, and equitable zoning by-law that works for everyone.
You can learn more about the project and how to get involved by visiting the project website: engage.ottawa.ca/zoning
