New Zoning By-law - final draft

The final draft, Draft 3, of the new Zoning By-law is now out for circulation and comment until October 3, 2025. The final draft incorporates feedback received during the Draft 2 consultation period, particularly on the outstanding issues identified in the Draft 2 report and direction provided by council.

ENGAGEMENT FOR THE FINAL DRAFT OF THE NEW ZONING BY-LAW

  • The As-We-Heard-It reports released with the Q3 2025 – Status update on the new Zoning By-law - Final Draft IPD document Draft 2 consultation and feedback, including information on the virtual and in-person engagement sessions held in spring 2025, as well as a summary of the topics discussed at working group and advisory committee meetings.

FEEDBACK AND UPCOMING ENGAGEMENT

Both in-person and virtual events will be held in September to gather feedback on the final draft of the new Zoning By-law:

Comments on the final draft of the new Zoning By-law can be made using the public comment form or by contacting the team at NewZoning@ottawa.ca.
