What are the Youth Consulations?
Designed and facilitated by youth leaders, these events are shaped by lived experiences. Youth facilitators will ask participants about:
- What matters most to youth in their communities
- Ideas for youth programs, spaces and services
- How to make Ottawa more inclusive, creative and supportive for youth
This project supports youth to take the leadership roles in project implementation, develop creative solutions and create positive change in their community.
Why attend a consultation session?
- Free food and drinks from local vendors
- $50 attendance voucher — because your time and ideas are valuable to us all
- Transportation support — rides, bus tickets or parking
- A welcoming, inclusive space to share your story and ideas for positive change
Each event is designed to give you space to share, connect and co-create solutions that will shape City policies and programs, benefiting us all.
