The City of Ottawa has initiated a Community Design Plan process for the development of the Stittsville North Urban Expansion Area (also referred to as W2 Lands), located west of the existing Stittsville community in Ottawa.

In order to develop these lands, the requirements to remove the Future Neighbourhood Overlay must be met in accordance with the City of Ottawa’s Official Plan, and a Master Plan will be prepared in accordance with the Municipal Class Environmental Assessment process.

    This event will present the area’s existing conditions, opportunities and constraints, and evaluation of alternative solutions, as well as the draft servicing, mobility, and land use plans. It is an opportunity for the project team to share plans for the future of this community and for community members and stakeholders to ask questions and provide feedback.

    Time: 7:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m., presentation at 7:30 p.m.

    Format: Presentation of project overview followed by question-and-answer period

    Location: CARDELREC Recreation Complex, Upper Hall (second floor), 1500 Shea Rd, Stittsville, ON K2S 0B2
