Launch of Phase 5 Transportation Master Plan consultations
The Transportation Master Plan project team is pleased to launch the final phase of consultation on the Transportation Master Plan's Capital Infrastructure Plan. The Plan identifies the transit and road networks that are needed to accommodate planned growth and achieve the City’s mobility objectives. It also identifies a subset of projects that should be prioritized for implementation.
You are invited to share your thoughts on the draft Transportation Master Plan's Capital Infrastructure Plan.
The Phase 5 consultation materials consist of the following reports that will be made available in the Document Library on the Transportation Master Plan's project website.
- Highlights Report, providing an overview of the draft Capital Infrastructure Plan and a snapshot of the recommendations by geography

- Travel Outlooks Report, describing the approach to travel demand forecasting and the “business-as-planned” scenario
- Transit Network Development Report, including transit networks and projects to meet travel demand, as well as Park-and-Ride recommendations
- Road Network Development Report, including road networks and projects to support growth and reduce congestion bottlenecks
The Transportation Master Plan team is also seeking feedback on the prioritized list of Council-approved active transportation projects to proceed in the first phase of implementation:
- Active transportation projects – proposed priority
- Map of prioritized cycling projects
- Map of prioritized pedestrian projects
