Stitt Street Park, located in Ward 6, is a neighbourhood parkette that offers play features to local residents and ties into the local pathway network. The existing wooden structure in the park has exceeded its functional lifespan and provides minimal play value to non-able-bodied individuals. The intent of the project is to replace this feature and the existing swing set with modern equivalents that offer play value for all.
You can view and compare the proposed playground designs by downloading the options in the Document Library (on the right-hand panel). We invite you to let us know which option you prefer and to share any additional thoughts through the short survey below.
This project has been designed in accordance with the City of Ottawa’s Accessibility Design Standards and will include new engineered wood fiber safety surfacing.
