Springhurst Park Dock Addition

Update November 14, 2023:

The ramp and dock shown on the initial concept design (that met accessibility requirements) wound up being too large for seasonal installation/removal and storage. To install a shorter ramp/dock combination required consideration by the Accessibility Advisory Committee. The approved revised design is available in the document library on the right.

The project has been tendered with construction anticipated in 2024.

The City is looking for your feedback on a dock addition to Springhurst Park at 24 Brunswick Street in Ward 17 - Capital.

The design of the dock shall be like those found in Bordeleau Park, Brantwood Park (image below), Brewer Park and Windsor Park, allowing canoe, kayak, and stand-up paddleboards to be launched. A new accessible path will link the dock to the existing park facilities and pathway system.
