Ward Workshops "As We Heard It" Reports

Thank you to everyone who participated in the ward workshops for the Rural Summit 2024! The Rural Summit Team has compiled the large amount of insightful feedback received at each workshop into ward specific ‘As We Heard It’ reports. Please view the reports by following the links below:

The public consultation on the Rural Summit 2024 will continue over the summer with pop-up engagements taking place at various community events throughout rural Ottawa. Residents are encouraged to complete the Rural Summit survey which will remain open until August 30. The feedback received from the survey and the workshops will lead the discussions at the Rural Summit taking place in Fall 2024.

The results of this work will be analyzed and summarized, which will be followed by a staff report to be tabled at the Agricultural and Rural Affairs Committee. The report will address the themes arising from the Rural Summit and offer recommendations and actions on how the City can better support rural residents.
