The Ontario Ministry of Health is seeking recommendations to modernize and transform public health services and how they are delivered in Ontario.

Ottawa Public Health will be providing feedback to the province and we want to hear from Ottawa residents and community partners about how to shape and improve public health services to better protect and promote the health of our community.

    An important role of public health is to help improve systems for health and well-being, including coordination with the health system and social services, to support individuals and communities with services they need to improve their health. Ottawa Public Health’s policy work also aims to change environments to make the healthy choice the easy choice.

    Which kinds of local organizations do you feel Ottawa Public Health should be working with to do this work well and why? Example organizations include social services, health care practitioners, other City services, or schools.
