Proposed New Parkette at 450 Tillbury Avenue West

The City is welcoming community comments on the proposed new parkette with fitness area known municipally as 450 Tillbury Avenue West, in Ward 15.

Initial design for this park took place as part of a Site Plan Control Agreement established for the development at 1705 Carling Avenue, including base park features such as landscaping, a walkway loop, and an accessible bench. The Ward Councillor has additionally offered to provide funding for some new fitness equipment for this small 0.08 hectare park. The fitness area is proposed to include pull-up bars, push-up bars, parallel bars, step benches, and an equipment information panel. The City is still reviewing potential names for this park.

Residents are encouraged to provide their comments on the proposed concept design through the comment tab below. Comments will be received until February 28, 2025.

Please be aware that the final park plan may differ from the concept being presented as a result of the public consultation responses, technical detailing, and supply and/or financial constraints.
