There is opportunity to add a basketball court to Alda Burt Park at the Dempsey Community Centre. The proposed configuration is illustrated below and available for download in the Document Tab.
The project will also involve construction of an accessible pathway to the sidewalk on St. Laurent Boulevard. The pathway would be routed near to the play area to increase accessibility to the existing play area. Bike racks and new benches may be provided.
Renewal of the play structures is not within the scope of this project.
Construction Timeline: Construction is slated to begin in 2026, but before we break ground, we would like your input.
