Upcoming Public Information Session
You are invited to an in-person public information session to discuss a functional design study for Merivale Road from Carling Avenue to Larose Avenue. During this session, the City of Ottawa will present the project scope, planning context and draft recommended functional design. Staff will be present to answer any questions and receive comments.
Date and Time: Wednesday June 24, 2026 -- 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. (Presentation at 7:00p.m.)
Location: St. Elizabeth’s Church -- Basement level --1303 Leaside Ave, Ottawa, ON, K1Z 7R2
The presentation and drawings will be posted on the project webpage once available. Questions and comments can be sent to the City’s project manager via email.
Project Summary
What: A functional design study considering improvements to active transportation, transit and streetscaping.
Why: To develop a design for the right-of-way in advance of an upcoming integrated road, sewer, and watermain renewal project.
When: The functional design study is ongoing, completion is anticipated in 2027.
