A family's haven

As a young family, the Ottawa Public Library – Elmvale Acres branch – has been a cornerstone of our neighborhood life : from participating to baby and me / toddler time, borrowing books (as well as buying the library’s used books at a very low cost) and hanging out in the kids’ section (playing with the activity walls, building blocks and coloring sheets).

We love spending time there, always with a warm welcome from a very knowledgeable, helpful and patient staff. As a bilingual family, we also love that we can find bilingual resources for both us and our twins.

We can’t wait to take advantage of all the other amazing resources available at OPL such as museum passes and other cultural perks. Thank you OPL for making our community warmer, more vibrant and democratizing access to culture for citizens from all walks of life.
