Consultation has concluded

The City is looking for your feedback on the Concept Plan for a new park development for Caltra Park in Ward 21, Rideau-Goulbourn. The 0.34 hectare, mostly woodlot covered, park is generally located north of Barnsdale Road, south of Kilbirnie Drive, and west of Greenbank Road.

You can download and review the Caltra Park Concept Plan in the ‘Document Library’ (located to the right) which shows the proposed design and more information on the proposed park amenities, including the play equipment. Please note that changes to the proposed Concept Plan may be necessary based on consultation feedback and potential budget constraints.

    Caltra Park: Proposed Design

    The proposed design includes:

    • Play equipment intended for ages 18 months through 5 years old
    • A saucer swing
    • Park furniture (benches and trash receptacle)
    • An existing woodlot
    • Park pathways (asphalt around the play area; stone dust through the wooded area)
    • Tree plantings


     Please be aware that a splash pad is not possible in this park due to budget and space limitations.
