Bradley Craig Park Cricket Pitch

The original design plans for Bradley Craig Park in Ward 6 included consideration for a cricket pitch between the two soccer fields. While the 2 soccer fields were constructed, the cricket pitch was not.

Increasing interest in cricket across the city has revitalized the need for additional pitches. A new pitch at Bradley Craig Park can help to fulfill that need and take pressure off of existing full-sized cricket fields.

This project will construct a standard cricket pitch including run-ups between the existing soccer fields. Field dimensions and nearby park uses will only support recreational tape ball cricket. There is not enough space to allow hard ball cricket on this site.
