Help the most vulnerable

We have heard time and time again that police are spread too thin. Instead of asking police to do more we should defund and reinvest in more specific programs to help the most vulnerable, and work with communities to address their specific needs.

We know bias is prevalent in policing and is near impossible to root out. Let’s not follow in Toronto’s footsteps (investing MORE into body cameras which have been shown to not work at solving a much deeper issue) and take a firm stance by investing in education, social programs, and healthcare.
