DEFUND THE POLICE

Why is so much money invested in a dangerous organization????

Invest the money into services that will ACTUALLY help the people of Ottawa (for example mental health services).

If the police is so beneficial and serves to protect its people, why are BIPOC afraid of them?? Why are BIPOC arrested/jailed in disproportionate rates?? WHY??

And do not tell me that you will “reform” the police. It will not work. YOU CANNOT REFORM THOSE THAT BREAK THE LAW AND ABUSE THEIR POWER.
