Consultation has concluded

Moving Forward:

Thank you for providing feedback on the Aura Park proposed design. Based on the results of the public consultation, and barring any financial, and/or supply constraints, the following will be implemented into the park design and construction:

  • Play equipment: Option A: the ‘Traditional’ style was chosen.
  • Basketball: If budget allows, a basketball key will be included in the construction of the park (still to be determined).

Please be aware that there may be further revisions to the plan, if necessary.

The City is looking for your feedback on the Concept Plan for a new park development for Aura Park in Ward 3, Barrhaven. The 0.36 hectare park is generally located north of the Jock River, south of Strandherd Drive, and east of the Borrisokane Road.

You can download and review the Aura Park Concept Plans which shows the proposed design and more information on the park amenities, including the play equipment.

Take the survey below to share your feedback and let us know your priorities. The survey will be open until Monday, 0 June. Please note that the survey can only be taken once per account.
