The new Minto Brookline Kanata North subdivision is proposing two new parks including a 2.57ha neighbourhood park and a 0.48ha parkette.
The neighbourhood park is located at the western edge of the development, with frontage on the main transportation route of the Brookline community, directly abutting and connected to the planned multi-use pathway system within Shirley’s Brook. The parkette is to be located central to the new residential development.
Proposed amenities for the neighbourhood park include a soccer field, tennis, pickleball and basketball court(s), a playground area, pathways, site furnishings and landscape planting. The parkette is to include a play area(s), pathway, site furnishing and landscape planting. You can access the concept plan(s) for the park(s) in the Document library on the right side of the page.
