Library as an essential service

I have always loved the library and have been a life long user, however:

My relationship changed three and a half years ago when I added to terminal cancer to my conditions, the other being COPD. With Covid raging the idea of going to the library was unthinkable, it would just be too risky. It was then that I discovered all of the eBooks, Audio-Books, and streaming services. Shut in more than most, the library was a life line to my home.

I am still high risk and as such still do not physically visit the library. I do miss the smell of books and wandering the stacks "just to see", but the OPL's e-services have kept my world so much bigger than the inside of my home. Thank you so much!
