Luc Major Park – Basketball Court Renewal
Luc Major Park is in Ward 01 – ORLEANS WARD. The Park currently provides nearby residents with various amenities such as, Jr. & Sr. play structures, soccer field and pedestrian pathways.
The basketball courts at Luc Major Park have deteriorated significantly in the last few years where large linear cracks now run throughout the courts in various locations. The asphalt is showing cracking and exposed aggregates due to loss of asphalt bonding agents.
Construction shall take place in spring/summer of 2022. A localized closure of the park may be required.
