Project description
The objective of the Larry Robinson Arena Expansion project is to renovate and expand the arena at 2785 8th Line Road in Metcalfe. The project includes an approximately 4,400 sq. ft. renovation of the existing facility and a new 6,000 sq. ft. addition. The existing dressing rooms will be replaced with seven accessible dressing rooms, including four full-size player rooms, two gender-inclusive rooms and a new referee room. The project will also add a new barrier-free entrance, an expanded lobby, accessible seating in the bleachers and new public washrooms, including a universal washroom. Other work includes re-roofing the arena, repairing the exterior block walls around the facility, and installing a new well and wastewater system to service the facility.

Project budget
Approved project funds to date are $9.7 million.
This project is receiving $3.8 million in funding from the Government of Ontario.
