Harkness Park – Tennis Court Renewal

Harkness Park is located in Ward 19 – CUMBERLAND WARD. The Park currently provides nearby residents with various amenities such as, Jr. & Sr. play structures, baseball diamonds, Outdoor Rink in the winter and a community centre.

The tennis courts at Harkness Park have deteriorated significantly in the last few years where large linear cracks now run throughout the courts in various locations. The asphalt is showing cracking and exposed aggregates due to loss of asphalt bonding agents.

Construction shall take place in spring/summer of 2022. Localized closure of the park may be required.
