The City of Ottawa is developing a Gymnasium Strategy to help guide the future renewal, development, management, and use of gymnasium space. As Ottawa continues to grow, this Strategy will help the City plan for and prioritize City of Ottawa operated gymnasium facilities in a way that reflects the evolving needs of residents, community organizations, and sports groups
The Gymnasium Strategy will explore:
Access and demand
Infrastructure and design
Operations and booking systems
Equity and inclusion
Partnerships and growth
We want to hear from you! Whether you currently use gymnasium facilities, are looking for more opportunities to participate in recreation programs, or have ideas about how spaces can better serve Ottawa’s communities, your feedback will help inform the future of gymnasium services across the city!
