July 2026 Update

Since September 2025, when the initial documents were shared and the public consultation event was held, several changes have been made to the project design. Updated documents are now available on this webpage and they include revised design drawings for Gladstone Avenue and Gilmour Street, and a summary of the feedback received during the public consultation period.

Notable changes to the project include:

  • Removal of the proposed westbound bike lane in front of the Preston Hardware loading dock to allow for short term staging of large vehicles accessing the loading bay.

  • A reduction in the proposed changes to the truck route network; Gladstone Avenue between Rochester Street and Preston Street is no longer required to be removed

  • Relocation of the bus stop at Arthur Street from the east side of the intersection to the west side, with the existing loading zone moved to the east side of the intersection

  • Addition of 10 onstreet parking spaces at two locations: one just west of Rochester Street and one just west of Lebreton Street
