Father Richard Ward Park – Pathway Renewal
Father Richard Ward Park is a large community park located in WARD 1 – ORLEANS. The Park is adjacent to Voyageur Elementary School in the French Catholic School Board. The Park provides inter-neighborhood pathway system, a soccer field, play equipment and ample open green space.
The current pathways are in poor condition and require complete subbase and asphalt replacement. Major heaving, ponding and cracking are present throughout the pathway system making the pathway not accessible nor passible.
Construction will take place in mid-summer of 2022. Localized closure of the park for the construction period may be required.
