The City is looking for your feedback on the design concept of the Eugene Martineau Fieldhouse, located at 710 Mikinak Road in Wateridge Village, Ward 13. The new building will sit west of the existing rink and basketball court and east of the existing trees, which will be protected. Pedestrian links to the multi-use pathway along Mikinak and internal park pathways will be provided.

This facility will provide a multi-use community space for meetings and gatherings, a kitchenette to support facility usage, changeroom space for skating, and facilities for community events and equipment storage. Four washrooms will support the community.

Please have a look at the project imagery in the project imagery section to the right.

Construction Timeline: Construction is slated to begin in 2026, but before we break ground, we would like your input.

How to Get Involved: Share your thoughts by completing our online survey. The survey is your chance to have a say in shaping the fieldhouse's features and form. It only takes a few minutes to complete.

Please note that the final facility may differ from the presented concept. Public consultation responses, technical detailing, supply availability and financial constraints are some of the factors that may influence a change.
