Please see "What We Learned" report for results from the public consultation.

The City of Ottawa is looking into the feasibility of building a disc golf course in Centrepointe Park. We are currently in the preliminary stages of the project and would like to take this opportunity to provide information and a hands-on disc golf experience to residents. Join us on Saturday November 4th from 1-2:30pm in Centrepointe Park to learn more about disc golf and have the opportunity to chat with City Staff and your Ward Councillor. We will have temporary baskets setup (pictured below), disc available to use and seasoned disc golf players will be available to teach and explain the objectives of the game. Please drop by and join us for a fun afternoon of disc golf!

Please take a moment to fill out the short survey available on this page.

Why Disc Golf?

Free to Play: Disc Golf Course is open to the public, free of charge! All you need are your own discs and a sense of adventure.

Accessibility: Conveniently located, our course is easily accessible for both residents and visitors. Grab your discs and head over to enjoy a round or two with friends and family.

Family-Friendly Fun: Disc golf is an excellent way to spend quality time with loved ones. It's suitable for all ages, making it the perfect outing for family gatherings and bonding.

Minimal Equipment: Unlike some sports that require specialized gear, disc golf only requires a few discs and comfortable clothing, making it easy to get started.

Overall, disc golf is a versatile and enjoyable sport that offers physical, mental, and social benefits while fostering a sense of community and appreciation for the outdoors. It's a great option for individuals looking for a low-cost, inclusive, and active recreational activity.
