Consultation Results
Thank you to everyone who provided their input on the playground equipment options for Atrium Park during the public consultation held in February. We heard from 51 residents, with 65 percent of residents preferring Option 1. The park is being designed to incorporate this playground equipment.
The project team is proceeding to make the following changes to the park design in response to the comments that were proposed and received:
Adding separate swings in the junior play area
Creating a yellow, purple, blue and gray colour scheme for the playground equipment

Adding a balance beam to the playground area
Shifting the proposed pathway at the western side of the park away from the residential lots near the Andromeda Road walkway block
Relocating two trees to the area between the pathway and the western edge of the park
Adding a pathway from the Atrium Ridge sidewalk to the playground area
Adding Core Glow stones at the pathway nodes

Construction of the park is anticipated to commence in 2021.

The City is looking for your help to design a new park in Riverside South. Atrium Park is a proposed 2.4-hectare neighbourhood park located at 886 Atrium Ridge. We want your feedback on the park’s concept plan and proposed amenities. Atrium Park is surrounded by:
