Upcoming Public Engagement Opportunities

Thank you for your continued interest in the 10-Year Housing and Homelessness Plan Refresh.

The 10-Year Housing and Homelessness Plan is currently undergoing a mid-point refresh. This process evaluates progress made to date and ensures the plan remains aligned with the community's evolving needs.

We are providing opportunities for you to get involved, join the conversation and make a difference.

A virtual information session will be held on Wednesday, September 10, from 6:30 to 8:00 pm, to help raise awareness and share updates. All residents are invited to attend. The session will include a Q&A portion. Please register here.

Following the virtual session, three in-person Open Houses will take place at various locations across the city. These events will continue the conversation through discussions with community partners. The Open Houses are drop-in style, with no registration required, and will offer opportunities for both one-on-one and group discussions.

The Open House sessions are:

  • Wednesday, September 17, 6 to 8pm, Jim Durell Recreation Centre

  • Thursday, September 18, 6 to 8pm, Tom Brown Arena

  • Thursday, September 25, 4:30 to 6:30pm, CardelRec Recreation Centre
