Application for Food Security Pillar Working Group

Background

The Community Safety and Well-Being Office is releasing a call for two Pillar Working Groups for Ottawa’s Poverty Reduction Strategy. The following application is for the Food Security Pillar Working Group.

When applying to become a member of the Food Security Pillar Working Group, please use one application if applying as a network (one that makes up of many organizations) or as a representative of one organization.

Introduction

This application is an opportunity to share your expertise and experiences on why your organization or network should be in the Food Security Pillar Working Group. Please reference the following document when completing your application: Food Security Pillar Working Group Terms of Reference

Applications will be reviewed by a small committee to determine the right fit of skills and experience and representation within the Food Security Pillar Working Group.

Please note: being a member of a Pillar Working Group is not a paid role.

The deadline to apply is February 28, 2025.

Personal information is being collected to facilitate the selection process of Pillar Working Groups as stated in the Poverty Reduction Strategy that was approved by Council on October 31, 2024 and in the Community Safety Well-Being Plan Governance Structure approved by Council on April 27, 2022.
