Help Shape a New Splash Pad for Bayshore Park
The City of Ottawa is exploring the development of a new splash pad at Bayshore Park, located at 175 Woodridge Crescent in Ward 7 (Bay Ward).
Bayshore Park serves one of Ottawa's most densely populated and family-oriented neighbourhoods. Many children and families live within walking distance of the park, yet the community currently lacks access to a splash pad and has limited opportunities for water play during the summer months.
To help address this need, the City is proposing the development of a new community splash pad within Bayshore Park. The project would transform an underused baseball diamond into a vibrant water-play destination for local children and families.

About the Project
The proposed splash pad would be located in the northern portion of Bayshore Park, near the Bayshore Community Building.
This location was identified because of its proximity to existing park amenities, washrooms, pedestrian pathways and servicing infrastructure.
The project will include the design and construction of a new community splash pad, along with supporting infrastructure such as:
Water-play features for children of different ages and abilities
Accessible pathways and connections
Seating and site furnishings
Landscape improvements
Water, drainage and electrical servicing required to support the facility
The splash pad will be designed in accordance with the City of Ottawa Accessibility Design Standards and will consider the needs of residents of all ages and abilities.
